Telephone Directories to Find Phone Numbers
You are here:
Internet Family Fun Home > Sites for Kids and Families > Telephone Directories to Find Phone Numbers
Find addresses, phone numbers, and business listings without spending money on directory assistance. You can even do reverse searches where you enter the telephone number and get who it belongs to. Most directories get their sources of information from different sources so be sure to check several if you can't find the number on the first try.
Free 411
Have you ever been on the road with your cell phone or been away from the computer and needed to get a phone number? Without a computer handy to look it up for free you have to call directory assistance and they can charge sometimes $2 or more to get you the number. All you have to do is call 1-800-FREE411 (1-800-373-3411) to get the number. It isn't even a long distance call from anywhere in the U.S. All you are charges is your regular cell phone minutes. I know you are thinking there is a catch and there is but I think the small inconvenience is worth it. The catch to get a number for free is you may have to listen to a short commercial before they give you the number. I figure a few seconds of my time is worth $2.
Their Web site address is easy to remember too: http://www.free411.com/ and you can look up numbers there also.
