When a telemarketer calls, tell them to put you on their do not contact list. By law, they are required to have one and not contact those people on the list.
National And State Do Not Call RegistriesLaws have been passed on the national and state levels. You can now add yourself to do not call registries. Beware though! Some states only stop people calling you to sell you something. Calls for donations and political calls can increase because they can use the list to call you.
